Full site prep, not just laying rolls
Most sod failures aren't a sod problem — they're a grade or a soil problem. We start every install by removing debris and old turf, correcting the grade so water runs away from the house, and topping with quality screened topsoil where the base needs it.
Once the base is right, we lay premium locally-grown sod in a staggered brick pattern, butt every seam tight, roll it in for full soil contact, and walk you through the first three weeks of watering — the part that decides whether it takes.
When sod beats seed
Sod is the right call when you need an instant lawn (selling the property, new build, HOA turnover), when you're fighting a slope where seed would wash out, or when you want to avoid a full growing season of muddy footprints. Seed is cheaper up front but takes months longer to fill in and needs constant babysitting. We're happy to walk through the tradeoffs before you commit.
