Tree Planting & Removal in Elgin, Oxford & Norfolk Counties
Trees are one of the highest-return investments you can make in a Southwestern Ontario property — shade in July, a windbreak in February, and curb appeal that compounds every year. We plant native and ornamental species across Elgin, Oxford and Norfolk Counties, and we handle safe removal when a tree is dead, damaged, or in the wrong spot.

What's included
- Site assessment and species recommendations
- Delivery of nursery-fresh, healthy stock
- Proper planting depth, soil amendment and staking
- Mulch ring and first-season watering plan
- Safe removal of dead, damaged or unwanted trees
- Full debris haul-away — no cleanup left behind
Tree planting done right
The difference between a tree that establishes in a season and one that stalls for years is almost always what happens below grade. We site each tree for sun, drainage and mature size, dig the pit two to three times the width of the root ball, amend the native soil only where it actually needs it, and stake in a way that lets the trunk flex — the movement is what builds a strong root anchor.
For HOA and commercial work we plant in graded rows with consistent spacing, mulch to the drip line, and set up a season-one watering schedule. For homeowners we walk through the same finish work so you know exactly how to protect the investment through the first winter.
Tree & shrub removal
Dead, storm-damaged, or overgrown trees are a liability — to your roof, your fence, and the healthier plants around them. We remove trees and shrubs cleanly, protect the surrounding turf with our light-footprint Kubota equipment, and haul away every last bit of debris. Where a stump is in the way of future planting or a new bed, we can pull or grind it in the same visit.
Species we plant most often
- Sugar Maple, Red Maple and Red Rocket Maple (including 10 ft boulevard installs)
- Serviceberry, Redbud, Flowering Crabapple and other ornamentals
- White Oak, Linden and shade trees for larger lots
- Cedar, Yew and privacy hedge material
- Native pollinator shrubs for garden bed conversions
