Local know-how
The land around Aylmer is gently rolling and low, typical of the Lake Erie lowlands. On ground like this, small grade changes decide where water sits after a rain, so we pay close attention to slope when we regrade a yard or prep for seed.
The Town of Aylmer picks up brush at the curb twice a year, in spring and fall, takes yard waste once each spring, and collects leaves each fall. Yard waste has to go out in paper bags that weigh under 20 kg.
If you would rather not bag everything and wait for the town schedule, we haul the cleanup debris away the same day we do the work.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to wait for the town's brush pickup after a cleanup?
No. The town collects brush in spring and fall, but when we do a cleanup we take the debris with us, so nothing sits at the curb.
How does the town want yard waste put out?
In paper yard waste bags, each under 20 kg. Yard waste is collected once each spring, and leaves are collected each fall.
Is your crew actually local to Aylmer?
Yes. Aylmer is our home base, so most jobs in town are a short drive from where we start the day.
